Helical gears are cylindrical gears with helical teeth cutted around the circumference.  Helical gears are most applied gears in all kinds of indsutrial transmission, with the characteristics of smooth transmission, low noise, and high efficiency. Helical gears usually have an operating efficiency of 98% to 99%. 

Compared with spur gear, helical gear has more meshing area and loading capacity, which makes it having much longer serving life. Nowadays, hobbing, shaving, shaping, and grinding are mostly applied in the production of helical gears.

4. Heat treatment: Hardening and Tempering, Induction Hardening, Carburizing& Quenching, Nitriding, Normalizing.
